Spider-Man 3 raked in about
$370 million worldwide during
its first weekend, a Spidey
comic book and original
art pulled in some nice
numbers. The Amazing Spider-Man
#37 (Marvel, 1966) graded
near mint 9.4 sold for $6,572
including buyer’s premium
by Heritage Auction Galleries
in Dallas. This was eighteen
times the listed value in
price guides. This issue
features the first appearance
by Norman Osbourne, who
would become the Green Goblin.
