Advertising
Icon and Famous Brands all began as
a business advertising plan. Some of
these same plans started decades ago
and are still effectively used in today's
marketing. A few examples of successful
advertising icons that have survived
through the years are Coca-Cola, the
Pillsbury Doughboy, Hershey's, and Campbell's
Soup. Probably some of the most recognizable
are those seen on the breakfast table,
the cereal box from Kellogg's feature
long time favorite characters like Tony
the Tiger, Toucan Sam, and of course,
Snap, Crackle, and Pop. General Mills
certainly deserves credit for their
share of cereal box characters, as well
with Trix the Rabbit, Lucky Charms,
Count Chocula and Frankenberry, just
to name a few.
Candy makers have
had their share of success in promoting
a product with a good character icon
that people love, the M&M Guys are
everywhere in today's market. You may
say you hate commercials but you have
to admit you have a favorite Advertising
Icon, too.
Lots
of merchandise for these Advertising
Icons and Famous Brands are sought after
by collector's today. They are some
times referred to as Advertising Collectibles.
We feature merchandise, collectibles,
toys, t-shirts, apparel, pillows, for a host
of Advertising favorites.
